2. Information We Do NOT Collect
SnapTik adheres to an absolute minimal data footprint architecture:
- No Personal Identifiable Information (PII): We do not require or collect your name, email address, phone number, physical address, or billing credentials.
- No Social Media Account Linking: We never request your TikTok credentials, OAuth tokens, passwords, or account access permissions.
- No Download Activity Tracking: We do not create user profiles or track your search and downloading habits across multiple sessions.
- No Device Fingerprinting: We do not record canvas hashes, audio context identifiers, or device serials.
3. Information Processed in Ephemeral Memory
When you paste a TikTok URL and submit a download request, our Cloudflare edge workers perform the following real-time operations strictly in ephemeral RAM:
- Target Video URL: The submitted link is temporarily evaluated in memory to validate the URL syntax and resolve the direct media CDN link. Once the response is returned to your browser, this link is immediately purged from memory.
- Transient IP & Network Headers: Standard network headers (such as IP address and User-Agent) are evaluated transiently at the edge for rate-limiting, DDoS mitigation, and firewall verification. We do not store or persist server access logs containing your IP address.
4. Cookies & Client-Side Local Storage
SnapTik uses minimal client-side browser storage strictly for functional UI preferences:
- Theme Preference: Stored locally in your browser to remember your Dark / Light mode preference across visits.
- Language Preference: Stored locally to maintain your chosen language interface.
- No Tracking Cookies: We do not deploy third-party advertising tracking cookies, cross-site beacons, or marketing analytics scripts.
5. Third-Party CDNs & Cloud Infrastructure
SnapTik is hosted on globally distributed edge networks provided by Cloudflare. When a video stream is fetched, your browser connects through secure HTTPS channels. Downloaded media streams originate from publicly accessible TikTok CDN servers. We advise users to review TikTok's public terms and policies regarding content visibility.
6. GDPR & CCPA Compliance Statement
Because SnapTik operates as a zero-knowledge service that does not collect, store, or sell personal data:
- We do not sell personal information to data brokers or advertisers (compliant with CCPA / CPRA).
- There is no personal profile or data database to access, rectify, or delete under GDPR Articles 15–17, as no user records exist.
7. Enterprise Cybersecurity Standards
We implement comprehensive defense-in-depth measures, including strict Content Security Policies (CSP), HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS with 2-year preload), X-Content-Type-Options: nosniff, and anti-SSRF allowlisting to protect users from malicious payloads and eavesdropping.
